Refund & Cancellation
Our policy regarding system setup and subscriptions.
1. Installation Fees
The one-time installation fee covers the initial system setup, data migration, and staff training. This fee is non-refundable once the installation process has begun or credentials have been issued.
2. Subscription Payments
SchoolManager.lk operates on a monthly subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle (starting from the 2nd month of usage).
- Subscription payments are non-refundable.
- We do not offer pro-rated refunds for mid-month cancellations.
- If you cancel your subscription, you will maintain access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing period.
3. Contract Commitment
By subscribing to SchoolManager.lk at our discounted installation rates, you agree to a minimum service commitment of 24 months from the date of initial subscription.
4. Cancellation & Mid-Term Termination
You may request a cancellation at any time. However, due to the 24-month commitment:
- If you terminate the service before the end of the 24-month period, you are required to pay a Termination Fee equal to 60% of the remaining monthly payments for the balance of the contract term.
- Written requests for cancellation must be sent to support@schoolmanager.lk at least 14 days before the next billing date.
5. Data Retrieval Post-Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, we recommend that you export all necessary academic and attendance reports before your access period ends. We can provide a complete database export in standard format for a nominal administrative fee if requested within 30 days of cancellation.
6. Service Interruptions
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for any losses resulting from temporary service interruptions. If a significant technical failure on our part prevents use of the platform for more than 48 consecutive hours, we may, at our discretion, provide a credit toward your next month's subscription.
